Art City Institute

The Art City “platform” fosters opportunities for skillsets to be learned and developed.   Doing this, students gain confidence by performing assigned task in a fun environment that proves powerful and necessary to operate businesses and create job opportunities.

Original story ideas are developed into dramatic art pieces, work-shopped, and placed into production.   In this process, students learn to:

The business side of the industry is examined, allowing students the distinct opportunity to receive credits while building portfolios of their completed work.

The gap is bridged between emerging artists and emerging audiences

Create opportunities for internship working with mentors and industry professionals .

  • Connect Up

Fundraiser developed to connect artist with those peers and industry professionals that will help their efforts progress through providing workshops, symposiums, and networking sessions

  1. Kollab

A cyber-platform, currently under construction, where performing artists connect with their peers to help build new and existing projects.

  1. Summer Theater Workshop

A summer internship program introducing students to all aspects of the theatre in a hands-on environment.  Activities include taking part in the collaborative process of original work development, set building and design, lighting, along with exploring the business side of running shows.  This program is capped off by actually producing a show and making it available for showcase to the supporters of the program and the open public, depending on seat availability.
